Planning For Retirement ...
"We were researching places to retire and Charlottesville was on our short list. When we contacted Arleen and informed her of our long-range plans, she insisted that she be our Charlottesville guide. We did not feel comfortable taking up her time, because we were uncertain that Charlottesville was going to be our home.
Arleen listened to our requirements, which were many, and gave us sound advice. She gave us a bird's-eye view of the Charlottesville area, a tour of the homes on the market as well as new construction. When we left Charlottesville, we felt that we were educated as to the variety of neighborhoods and homes available. We decided to build our "dream house" in Charlottesville.
Because this house is to be our last, we had very specific ideas as to floorplan and products. Arleen recommended a builder that would be flexible and open to our ideas. As a result, after 1 1/2 years, we got exactly what we asked for and more. Arleen was instrumental with our selection of location, lot and builder. Her assistance with these major decisions enabled us to achieve the type of home we were searching for."

Transcontinental Connections ...
"I want to commend Arleen Yobs for her excellent work recently in selling our home. She provided sound consultation and guidance and was willing to meet at our convenience. However, what really stood out was her ability to use technology to complete the sale. When I think of Real Estate, I don't normally think of web sites, digital photography, and email. Arleen used all three, and more, to great advantage in the sale of our home. Having moved to England while the house was on the market, you can imagine that we were pretty anxious about the offers, inspection, closing and more. Arleen kept us informed up to the minute, sometimes with three emails a day. She minimized our expenses and risk. In fact, I'm sure we could not [have] closed on time without her efforts and skills. When we return to Charlottesville in three years or so, I'm looking forward to starting virtual house-hunting with Arleen from three thousand miles and five time zones away."
